Gov Rauner signs five bills into law that will change the future of Criminal prosecution in Illinois, with the goal of reducing the Illinois prison population by 25% over the next ten years. Gov Rauner is joined by Democrat members of the General Assembly, who authored the bills, and served on the Governor’s commission on Criminal Justice Reform.
