This webinar checked out the ground-breaking research study released by Centre for Women’s Justice previously this year and went over the immediate requirement for reforms which it highlights.
The research study analyzes why females eliminate violent partners and the lots of methods they are stopped working by the criminal justice system – from the failures to secure females from abuse in the very first location, through to the unjustified penalty of females whose actions are inspired by self conservation. The research study authors will go over the report’s findings and suggestions with essential academics and professionals, and consider its broader ramifications for the criminal justice reaction to ladies whose upseting or declared angering emerges from their experience of domestic abuse.
