CJ Koome says she wants to improve administration of justice in her term

Chief Justice Martha Koome has lamented that underfunding of the judiciary is compromising the administration of justice. The chief justice challenged government to enhance funding for the judiciary. Koome remained steadfast that in the face of attacks to the judiciary, she will defend the independence of the institution.
