New york city City now has its second-ever Black mayor in Eric Adams, its very first Black lady cops commissioner in Keechant Sewell and Manhattan has its very first Black district lawyer in Alvin Bragg, signing up with the ranks of numerous other Black leaders who were chosen or selected in current months.
