Neighborhood and Criminal Justice

The Bachelor of Community and Criminal Justice (Co-op) is a four-year co-op degree program that will provide you qualifications to pursue a profession as a probation officer, a therapist for problem youth, a policeman or the capability to deal with the general public to avoid and react to criminal offense.
Graduates will have the analytical abilities to understand why some rely on a life of criminal offense and more significantly, how you may assist avoid that from taking place. An inter-professional method will be used highlighting the value of inter-agency cooperation in resolving both specific and social concerns. Graduates will be prepared to research study, initiate, carry out and examine social policy and programs. After conclusion of their 2nd year, trainees will choose one expertise in either Police Studies or Community Justice Studies.
