Trivia:
Alfred Hitchcock asked for a copy of English Criminal Justice to assist notify the legal treatments included in his 1947 movie The Paradine Case.

The news article as seen in the Daily Herald (at 01: 39) and the pictured murder scene seem a recommendation to the Neville Heath murders that made numerous headings in 1946 whilst English Criminal Justice remained in production.

In his autobiography, director Ken Annakin remembers his experience of making English Criminal Justice, and how showing he might deal with stars caused his break in function movies.
