The following video features students who are enrolled in the high school Criminal Justice program, many of whom have expressed an interest in a law enforcement career. Weapons displayed in the video are NOT actual firearms.

Students enrolled in the Deer Park High School-South Campus Criminal Justice program recently participated in their first competition. Team member Abby Hernandez earned first place in Marine PT Challenge. Peyton Vasquez, Brandon Hamby, John Isbell and John McGill won first place in Academic Testing, and Max Gunn, Johnny Ramirez, Abby Hernandez and Liam Flannagan won second place in Crime Scene Investigation. The students are shown preparing for the competition by demonstrating a felony traffic stop in cooperation with San Jacinto College Criminal Justice students, who appear as drivers in the video.
