The Recognition of Psychological Conditions in the Criminal Justice System

Although psychological disease is commonly acknowledged as an issue in contemporary society, it presents specific difficulties for the criminal justice system. Such evaluations need to be duplicated as an offender moves through the various phases of the criminal justice system. For there to be an efficient and effective reaction to psychological health problem, the authors recommend not only that assessments be shared in between criminal justice agencies but likewise that there be ongoing discussion between psychological health and justice firms.
