What Works for Criminal activity Victims, criminal justice, victim assistance centers, and the emotional wellness of criminal offense victims

After the Second World War, the role of the victim in criminal conflict ended up being an object of interest for academics. Some criminological research was carried out on this subject, the impact that the criminal justice system and victim support services have on the wellness of criminal offense victims is still uncertain. Hence this research study was performed based in two countries– Switzerland and Brazil– where the result of the victims’ motion on the criminal justice system was different, as was the involvement of the victim in the criminal justice system and the government’s arrangement of assistance.
