At the core of criminal justice reform are stories– the stories of how we attain justice, and how stars throughout the system disagreement and re-shape what that implies. In these Moth-style talks, we speak with professionals with deep experience operating within, and trying to change, the criminal justice system. The session, co-hosted by Brook Hopkins ’07, executive director of the Wrongdoer Justice Policy Program at HLS, HLS Teacher Carol Steiker ’86, and HLS Teacher of Practice Alex Whiting, included panelists Alec Karakatsanis ’08, creator of the Civil liberty Corps, and Jeffery Robinson ’81, deputy legal director, Trone Center for Jstice and Equality.
