A retrospective account of the research performed in the 1950 s by the American Bar Structure which conducted a pilot survey of the processing of wrongdoers from arrest to prison– to observe what in fact took place at each choice point, rather of presuming that doctrinal legal analyses sufficed. A lot of the chief individuals in the Study of Crook Justice write here about the repercussions of the earlier research study for subsequent scholarship, mentor, and policy, and review the issue of discretion in criminal justice.
