The Problem of Racial Bias in Criminal Justice

When Alan checked out with Dr. Liz Phelps of New York University, he took part in the Implicit Association Test. Established by scientists at Harvard University, University of Washington, and University of Virginia, this test determines an individual’s degree of subtle predispositions when s/he encounters individuals of another race or ethnic background.

Following his interview with Phelps, Alan consulted with legal specialist, Dr. Nita Farahany, to comprehend how huge an issue race predisposition is within the criminal justice system.
