Data has actually been acknowledged as being main to efforts to enhance the criminal justice system and recognize injustices. In 2018, Hawaii’s HCR134 Bad Guy Pretrial Job Force performed an extensive research study of Hawaiʻi’s pretrial criminal justice system, and determined the requirement for broad-based research study in how the system runs and its effects through the collection and analysis of information.
