Bad Guy Justice 101: A Very First Course is an initial level book intended for starting criminal justice trainees. It provides students with a practical, reader-friendly experience and we present and explain our materials, as much as possible, in an easy-to-read, conversational design. The basics and basic tenets of criminal justice are checked out in 12 chapters (easily covered in one term) and we avoid the often lengthy and usually cumbersome info that prevails in many other publications. Our text also tries to eliminate the unnecessary legal formulations and mystical terms that the beginning criminal justice trainee might not always require. The book supplies basic and basic information that can easily be soaked up by the beginning criminal justice student in one term. It is our intent to offer a book that will engage trainees, instead of burdening them with info that may, at times, be overwhelming and unneeded at the initial level.
